Burt's Bee: Bee Healthy Campaign
In Media Planning & Strategy I was introduced to the process of deciding where, when, and why to run advertisements. Media Planning includes the "behind the scenes" research and analysis that goes into the selection of media platforms to deliver advertising, promotions, and public relations messages to the target audiences in the right setting, at the right time, and in the most cost-efficient manner possible. My group and I learned to use the same theories, data sources, skills, and techniques media planners use to select the appropriate mass media vehicle.
During the semester my client was Burt's Bees and the goal was to create a national campaign to promote a specific product, the Brightening Even Skin Tone Moisturizing Cream. My group and I came up with a media plan to show how to execute the national campaign. I created visuals to bring the advertisements to life.
